It’s the most human thing you can do – or stated differently, those who don’t love, aren’t truly human.

There are a million and one definitions of love and i’m not saying there’s one right one to me, it’s about empathy, compassion and appreciation of fellow humans and with more than of us, we should start to respect each other with a little more dignity, or else our lives will feel miserable.

It’s not so hard. just tell someone you care about that you do – and try to understand where those you don’t care about are coming from. For understanding breeds respect and appreciation is the basis for compassion and love. so today, make sure you let someone know! Trust me, you’ll feel much better!

I have found that if you want to love someone beyond breakfast, you don’t fall in love with their body, but with their mind. You fall for the character, the personality, that being beyond the skin… you fall for the beautiful and the ugly, the natural and the incomprehensible. You don’t love despite or because of but unconditionally. For love is about admiration and acceptance for what is and that’s magical because we tend to live in our own world in our own head and listen to that little voice narrating a story we call reality. So although we kiss with our eyes closed, we only truly fall in love with our mind wide open.

“Because with the right person, sometimes kissing feels like healing.”

– Lisa McMann, Gone

If you care about someone, tell them. Be open about it. Such beautiful feelings of love should not be kept hidden.
